Anybody know how to decrease the velocity on a PCS US5 when the adjustment screw is already bottomed out?  Is there a trick similar to cutting the spring of a Spyder?

Sheldon suggested that I not fill the CO2 tank so full and that helped a little bit, but I was still shooting 290-305fps.

Thanks.

I've heard people letting their marker cocked for a day to weaken the spring but I think that's a crap shoot. I would suggest just cutting the spring. Be careful when you do, sometimes a 1/4 coil can equal as much as 30 fps so having a chronograph setup when your doing so would be your best bet.

My T68 has Spyder internals and last saturday my marker was cooking no matter what I did. Luckily Spiderman helped and its all good. What ended up happening was cutting down a coil from the spring.

So cutting the spring should help then?  Keep in mind that this is not a stacked-tube blowback like the Spyder, it's an in-line like the Tippman A-5.

I only used Spyder as a reference because I had to cut springs in two to solve this problem before.  I think the US5 works similarly to a Spyder but is laid out differently.

I'll wait until I have access to a chronograph like Sparky suggested.
