My motorcycle and I went on a search for a good fishing spot this morning some where along the Juniata River. Found a couple promising places while the majority of them had "Posted" signs everywhere. I'll have to remember this when the same type of people ask me to hunt on my property.

I went out with the dog before dawn Saturday morning and didn't catch any fish, but I did catch this.

Ok so i got a lil bored and looked at the other Stats (under the whose online thingy) and the male to female ratio is 13:1. I wonder who else is a female on the forums

The Mighty (mighty filthy) Susquehanna, right about HERE.

Took the boat out Friday night north of Duncannon on the Juniata and the river is unbelievably low. There are some nice big truck tires laying around. Caught some small fish but nothing to get excited about especially when I'm using 20# plus fishing line.

Are you using monofilament or braid?  I switched to braid this spring and love the way it casts, I've been told it's stronger, pound for pound, than mono.  Guy I work with says braid rated for 6 pounds is like a 10 pound mono.  That doesn't make any sense to me though, seems a pound should be a pound no matter what it's made of...

Whatever, like I said, it casts real nice.

I switched all my reels over to Flurocarbon last month and I've been much happier for it. The normal river hangups don't happen anymore (highly abrasion resistant). It's a tad on the expensive side but the knot strength is unreal (I always seem to have issues with knots). It casts nice and I haven't had any issues with memory so far. What I seem to have issues with are my 3 way swivels, can't seem to find any quality ones that won't break apart when I get hung up. Need to latch onto one of those 30-40 pound flatheads I've been hearing about around TMI then I'll let ya know how I like it  .

I know where that is at. My dad lives in Hanover. I don't go over to his place anymore but yeah that is might low and yes the river is very filthy.
