Hey Gsorce! Sorry to hear that you wont be with us on the 30Th.  But have a great time at EMR! That's where I first played back in the 90's. Hooked ever since.

JK5099 See you on the 30Th invite as many as you can.  All are welcome but the cheaters!  They can stay home.

I tried to get jersey's made up in time for the 30Th, but it doesn't look like it will happen.  The artwork might get back by then.  We can only hope that business is slow and they get to it.
The picture of the MERCS previously posted was just a sample. I'm getting one similar but the artwork need to be completed first.  I attached the pics of the back and (FUNNY ) the old fart one is to show the base camo.
The jersey's are getting made up by me at www.animalpaintball.com.  The "BOSS" said that if you have your own artwork he can get them made through smart parts.  I had no artwork, so I'm having animal change the base camo and the skulls to have a black beret, with markers not guns behind it. Leave the ammo belt. Added the www.WANNAPLAYPAINTBALL.com above the mercs. ADD the (team) name to the sleeve.  On the left shoulder I had them add a yellow "support our troops" ribbon for our soldiers.  It costs $20 hr for the artwork to get done(3hrs so far).  $65 jersey (+5 for XXL), I added padding +$12(wuss), my name to the collar +$8 I think. Once the artwork is done I will try and post it if anyone is interested. Once mine is made anyone can get one by reordering the same jersey and adding their name and # for just the jersey price.
Any last minute Ideas will have to come soon before they start the jersey.

Those jerseys should look pretty darn sharp!  Are you getting a $5.00 discount on cases of paint for putting www.wannaplaypaintball.com on it?   Just kidding, the paint's already cheaper at Wannaplay than anywhere else I've ever been...

It really blows my mind how much some fields charge for paint. I'd rather pay a $30.00 field fee than $65.00 for a case of Stinger (ahem, cough cough *revolution* cough cough) and then go through a case and a half.  That's just ridiculous. 

Even worse, there was an establishment down in Glen Rock last year (closed now) that charged me $55.00 for a case of paint that sat in a 95 degree barn for three days.  It was so soft that it jammed up an Evo3, a Revolution, a gravity hopper, and even stuck in a guppy.  I popped the lid, turned the guppy upside down and no paintballs fell out.  Not ONE.  Other people had the exact same problem and the field operator wouldn't take the paint back.  One got pinched in the neck/bolt of a PCS US5 and didn't break, that's BAD.  It looked like a water balloon when you squeeze one end real hard.

Anyway, enough complaining... Do any of you actually know anything about paintball tactics?  I mean, I posted this in the team section, but I really don't have any team experience.  Heh, I was in the marching band in high school, but I don't think that applies here. 

In my experience paintball teamwork is great and typically lasts until the ref blows the starting whistle.  Then madness ensues and all planning/organization goes out the window.  At best it lasts until a teammate gets taken out of the game and the stark realization that no plans were made for such an eventuality sets in.

Don't let the rain keep you away!!   As of right now I still plan on playing on Sunday unless Huricane Bill makes it a wash out.  If there is just a passing storm I can deal with that.  I'll bring my canopy and set up early to try and keep my area dry.

It was taken during a dark period in my life, had a right nasty trip to the English Isles.  Fell in with a Scottish fella named Henry.  Nothing but trouble that guy.  It all worked out in the end though.

I heard that it is still on tomorrow for the paintballing ,but i will be showing up and the guy i asked to come with me backed out he wants to hang out with his girlfried. If no inconvience i have two brothers that would like to come with me 16 and 13.  I know the one is really young but he is short fast and goes balls to the wall and is a good player. The other guy is a 6 2 and about 170 pounds he is the quarterback  at our high school so he is athletic.  If you don't want them playing with you guys we can play ourselfs but they are good and would really love to play.
And they are no fools

Thank you all for attending the Sunday open play.  Chris I'm sorry I kept calling you Steve.  It was nice meeting you all.  I hope that we can do it again.  I had a great time and so did the guys from my work.  It was their first time and I think I've got them hooked.
I'll post a pic of the Jersey's once I get them.  I hope that it doesn't take too long.  
Talked to the "BOSS" he said there is a pump game coming up on Sept. 13th.  I'll be on vacation, but all you pump players come out to support it so there will be a next time so I can attend that one.
And for all of you that had seen the monstrosity of a pack that I was carring.  It is called a MEDUSA, its a ball carrier.  Each sleeve held 350balls.  It was my first field test I just got it a couple of days ago.  I give it a A.  I had to have my wife reinforce the stitching, but functionally it worked wonderfully.  I'm impressed.  They cost $17.99 a sleeve @ www.medusapaintball.com
I might have to dump my pack for the big pack that holds 2100rds.  Now that would be some serious paint hall'n.

Heck yeah I had a great day, hopefully next time we won't end up on opposing teams!  I didn't get too many "kills" but the day was certainly very entertaining.  Got a nice big knot on my neck to show my buds at work who missed out, still stings a bit in fact.   Don't worry about calling me by the wrong name... I just have to listen for Chris and Steve, that's all...

I tried to avoid it but I got into gun battles in four out of six games with that airball team.  They destroyed me (badly) every time.  I think I'm going to spend a day playing with them and see if I can learn anything.  I'm not a fan of playing that kind of paintball but it's not much fun going up against them and being completely out-classed.  After some practice wtih them maybe I'll at least have a chance.  If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!  Right?

I'll email BOSS and see if he can recommend someone who will be helpful.

So you had two sleeves, 2x350=700, and I saw four guppies, 4x140=560.  That's 1,260 paintballs!  Figure at least 200 in your hopper and that's three quarters of a case!  You are a good man to be close to during a long scenario game!

Best play of the day was whoever that kid was that snuck down behind our fort in the first game on Lego Land.  He got past three guys without being seen and wasted at least five of us with our backs turned then took off back up the hill. 

THAT'S paintball right there.

I understand its been well 4 months since the last post. I got back into paintball recently; I  haven't played or touched my marker in couple of years, and well I'm looking to really get back into it. So I thought this would have been appropriate to post since I am fond of woodsball.

Even though its the winter season, its always good to plan ahead for the spring. Besides it'll be good to get my marker back in shape.

Note: I've played with my marker twice and it still works.
